When we hear the words “climate change”, most people imagine a polar bear sat helpless on a melting ice cap in some far away land. Although this is true, it’s also much closer to home than people realise.

In fact, 23 of our 92 English league home stadiums are due to be flooded by 2050, according to this research by David Goldblatt. Clubs including Chelsea, West Ham and Fulham.

To raise awareness, we worked with ethical fashion designers to “flood” each of the 23 home shirts. On the reverse of every shirt is the name “Flooded” and number “23”.
